::horrible customer service...went here to get a bridesmaid dressed hemed. They charged 70 dollars just to take it up an inch. When i went before closing to pick it up and they refused to get it for me because they were “closed” even though the door was open. When I pushed back on the price they lied about they came up with the cost because they couldn’t find a reason why it was so expensive. Save your money and time, find a new cleaner.

::They ruined my puffer jacket by pressing the sleeves with heat. When I complained, they said I was threatening them and I should call Obama to fix the issue (Really. No lie here). I lost the cost of the alteration + Ruin jacket cost. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE I BEG YOU...

::I’ve been using them since I moved to Astoria two years ago. It used to be fast and great when I first started using them, but over the past year I’ve had a few incidences of bad experience, and in recent month this place has become just simply horrible. Last week I had a bag of laundry and it came back with four of them completely destroyed – two of them are broken, and the material of the other two have become very fuzzy, while they were silky when I sent them. After I showed them what happened, the guy at the counter told me “these are all linens, you should wash them”. Mind you these are all made by >70% polyester material – if you ever know what is linen, you would be able to tell none of these are made of it. One of the clothes is a mesh and there’s giant holes on it, like it is burned. I pointed the holes to them, and the guy goes “sure we can rewash it.” You can rewash it into a whole piece?! I really doubt it. When I tried to argue for a better solution, the first respond they gave was to shovel the responsibility off – “we had new management, they are different” But is that my problem??? NEVER coming back to this placer again. And if you don’t want holes on your clothes, you shouldn’t either.

::Update: As of 11/27/17 they have been under new management and I highly encourage you to stay away from this shop. I dropped off 1 shirt and it came back with stains on both sides from where it was pressed. Thankfully they agreed to dry clean it for free to have the stains removed. I then dropped off a second shirt for wash and press- when I went to pick it up, they were unable to find it. I returned the following day after they located it, and behold, another stain! (Also note: the gentleman in front of me in line had a stain on his shirt which was dry cleaned). I confronted the associate about the stain and they indicated that they "do not guarantee wash and press"!! They are washing and pressing shirts at their own facilities but do not guarantee it. After arguing with the associate he finally gave in and agreed to dry it clean it free of charge. TBD if the stain will come out. Further Update: I returned yesterday to pick up another set of my shirts that were washed and pressed, and upon arrival there was a customer in the back of the store helping the store associates look for her laundry bag that they were unable to locate. So far I have seen this store unable to locate wash and press as well as wash and fold. Not Happy. As soon as I get my shirt back I will not be returning to this store - please do yourself a favor and visit one of the other dry cleaners.
