I went there because I was missing one tool to mount my kickstand. I took my bike onto a flight so I had to dismount it. Since the kickstand was on the bike for more than five years, it was obvious where it was before. The mechanical guy put some tube around the frame and then attached the kickstand on a whole different position. The result is, my bike was standing. But if I'm just putting one half full water bottle in it, it's falling. If the floor is not 100% even its falling. So all in all, I can't recommend this bike shop if attaching a kickstand is to much for them.

I bought a commuter bike here a year ago. It's a 30 minute ride from my house, but I wouldn't consider switching to a closer shop for almost any parts or service because Mike's Bikes of San Francisco people here are so friendly and knowledgeable.

A better customer service one could not expect. Sam, Fran and Tamara are all great!

Terrible customer service! The staff, a lady who we are not certain about her name was very rude to us. She put on a uninterested look and act like she was occupied with something while she walked in and out of the store. However there was one member of stuff who was really helpful. We don’t know his name but whoever he is thank you!

This used to be a great bike store. Things have changed - my last few visits were textbook examples of taking customers for granted. The staff comes across as preoccupied, uninteresting and condescending. They have a great selection, however their customer treatment leaves a lot to be desired
