  Mid in mod is a great place. Their mid century inspired selection has many strong pieces. They can be on the pricey side for certain items but that's usually reflected in the build quality. Classic pieces and also zany styles/colors if you're into that. Like any furniture store, there are some styles that would be cheaper at other retailers (mainly online though). However, I've bought three pieces where they worked with me on the price and I've been happy with all of them - I think it's worth supporting a brick and mortar store like this one!

  We bought a beautiful couch from MidInMod and have been really happy with the quality and style. We get a lot of compliments on how lovely and comfortable it is. The delivery was fast and cheap. The employee at the store when I was testing the various couches was very nice and did her best to answer all of my questions. They are a relatively small business and worked hard to earn my business.

  I was looking for a 1960's modern sofa (think mad men) and was coming up empty at store after store. I happened across mid in mood and they had several options I liked. Staff was really helpful, even tracked down different versions of ones I liked at their other location. Came back the next day and purchased. Delivered it two days later and driver was on time. Great experience!

  Employee Roman was helpful with the initial purchase of a couch. During the delivery I had a couple of issues which was due to the delivery company and not Mid in Mod or their employees. I contacted the Mid in Mod River Oaks location and spoke with Kate. I can not emphasize just how much Kate went beyond to make sure I was taken care of and any issues I had were quickly resolved. Due to the outstanding customer service I received from Kate I am purchasing more furniture from Mid in Mod. In addition, the prices are reasonable and the quality is good. I also had a pleasant experience working with employees Ilhan and Lucas who made sure I was satisfied with the couch. I would recommend stopping by and seeing what’s on the showroom floor as the employees are not pushy and let you look around at your leisure.

  I’ve had my couches and entertainment center for about a month now and I really love it. They fit perfectly into my studio apartment. Kate the lady who helped me even let me take two different color pillows home to see if I like the way the colors matched with everything. She was amazing to work with. I hope i got her name right! I really like this place and will definitely shop there again.
