MJM provides an exceptional environment for growth and learning. MJM is more than a school, it is a community of caring individuals, who day in and day out demonstrate their dedication to our child's growth and well-being, through personalized attention and care. Thank you MJM for a truly exceptional educational experience!

Hello all. Let me start by saying it difficult to write this review as I don’t want to say anything negative; and prefer to focus on what works. However in honor of all new mommies and Daddies of the community; I feel the Importance to give an honest thorough review! This is brand new school established this fiscal year. The school was closed when my daughter and I went to tour it. However, they were DIShonest to my daughter and said it was still an open and running school. Then stated they were renaming the Montessori preschool, come to find out my grandchild was starting the 1st class of a new preschool two years ago. The school struggled to retain the teachers and survive. However, the newly developed school family and parents poured their personal resources into getting the preschool to thrive. Then, Last year they hired a new head of school and decided to let him buy them out. This head of school’s sole focus is an orthodox elementary school with no knowledge, training, nor interest in early childhood education (pre-school.) Of the many problems this created; The big problem here is they did this without informing any parents or “board” that they were completely starting a brand new school; with a different vision, different policies, and different owner. No parents or board members (whom met exhaustively to get that school off the ground)were aware of the new school/policies being implemented. I don’t think they knew their own policies. Board members and parents were distraught and many pulled their children out. The new orthodox elementary school was and now is exhausting much of the budget and the resources that previously went to the preschool. The preschool has now just become feeder for the elementary school, all while the kids in the preschool are being completely neglected on every level (Kitchen staff left to watch the children). Continued resources going into developing an elementary school left them bare of assessments and guidance for the children and parents. They are barley able to organize themselves, no less assess children and meet their educational and social emotional needs. Interesting a new policy was implemented that no parent can see what is happening within the walls of this school. Speaking of walls; Also, the physical building itself is old, run down and infiltrated with mold, which has yet to be cleaned out. If you are Jewish orthodox with minimal elementary options, this school may be seem like an “alternative” choice. However, the operations are minimally functional at best. I truly hope the history lesson of this school helps to inform all of you looking for guidance !!

We were happy at the school but then they recruited a new principal and completely changed the vision, mission, and direction of the school. Communication between the school and the parents is woefully disjointed. The school is much more concerned about building a barely functioning elementary school than maintaining the preschool it was founded to be. Families have been pulling out right and left. Very glad we moved our child to another Jewish preschool in the neighborhood.

MJM embraces my children's unique skills and interests to motivate their learning. They focus on the whole child, fostering social, emotional, intellectual and self-discipline skills (my children write their own lesson plans, and evaluate themselves at the end of the week!). My kids have been here for one year, and I'm already seeing them develop into adaptable thinkers, collaborative problem solvers and irrepressible learners. I'm so grateful to have this leading educational institution in the Grove!
