This is a good Mexican restaurant right on Rockville Pike, a few blocks from Twinbrook Metro. I've gone here dozens of times and it has become my wife and my go-to place for Mexican food. The food is definitely Americanized, but always tasty. Usually comes out quite fast. It can get busy during peak times, but we've rarely had to wait to be seated. We used to live about a mile away, but still find ourselves going back even after moving 15 minutes away.

3.5 is more accurate. Service was nice. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The food kind of reminded me of Taco Bell...I love taco bell, but that's not what I want from a sit down restaurant. Tres leches cake wasn't great either. Overall, it's a lot better than I remember it being. Wouldn't mind going back but it's not #1 on the list.

First visit, with a group of 7. It was meant to be brunch but there were only lunch and dinner items on the menu. The refried beans and cheese burrito was huge. Served with seasoned rice. Delicious. Very large portion, I took half home. The coffee was yukky, bottom of the pot bitter. Family friendly. Homemade taco shells. I'd go back.

It's pretty generic Tex Mex, but overall it's definitely one of the better Tex Mex places in the area. Update 1 : Returned to this place after several years. Was saddened to find the quality seems to have declined precipitously. Got a margarita that tasted like a mix of Kool-Aid and tequila. The best dishes I tried were just OK. The worst were really cafeteria-grade chow. I'm changing my score from 4 to 2 stars. I hope these guys turn it around.

Favorite spot for tasty fajitas and enchiladas. Good kids menu. Steaks are delicious and whole grilled snapper is fantastic (enough food for 2) Excellent margaritas, friendly staff. Support Local family owned and operated restaurants, appreciate the places in town where your $ go!
