::We come here often for lunch. Good food. Service is good but most of the waiters have an air of superiority - - not very friendly. They do their job though. My favorite is the brisket street tacos. They call them something else.

::Love Mi Cocina. Sometimes there's a wait, but it's worth it! It's also a tad to loud at times but you can't control how loud everyone else talks. Love it here!

::This is another Texan interpretation of Mexican food. The flavor was completely missing, massive amounts of salsa needed to impart some flavor to the food. The wine is extremely overpriced too. The menu use several term in Spanish, the restaurant name is in Spanish, but not the hostess nor the waiters know a single word of Spanish, which a little disappointing...

::Make no mistake, this is the go-to Mexican joint for those climbing the social ladder in Houston. If you go during peak dining hours, you will be waiting at least 30 minutes. Like many places in the area, you must valet park. The margaritas are STOUT. Not a huge margarita fan, but I definitely enjoyed these. They will sneak up on you. Service is very attentive and friendly. Once we ordered, our food came out quickly and was very good. Prices are very reasonable all the way around as well. In order for a Mexican place to get 5 stars from me, I expect differentiation from the standard Mexican restaurant playbook. El Tiempo has some menu options that others may not, but nothing too crazy. That being said, I will definitely be back to share in the experience with others.

::Great tacos and perhaps the best salsas Ive ever gotten with free chips. The spicy salsa was right up my alley with fresh jalapenos and cilantro dominating the flavor. While I initially thought that $15 for 3 tacos was a bit steep, these were definitely $5 tacos considering the huge scoop of guacamole and the dollop of pico that they were served with.
