Every day. EVERY DAY the 40 is late. I have a hard time getting ANYWHERE on time because the drivers can't understand that we have places we need to go. I called on a Saturday because a bus didn't show up. Fifteen minutes into my call, the bus showed up and metro thought he was already at Heights and 7th. They don't know where their buses are. (The next bus wasn't due for another 10 minutes and was running late). If I could rate them in a negative number, I would.

@910am Feb14th. Metro bus 4864. Heading north on Hwy 59 near GRB. Speeding. Double lane change. Almost crashed into me as it crossed into far right lane. Then it rode on the tail of another car at less than a car length behind. This driver should be fired!

First of all any Veteran that is 50% service connected or greater rides the bus, park and ride, and metro rail for free. The staff is always friendly to me. Lines arenโ€™t long, atleast no time Iโ€™ve ever been. One of the best transit systems in USA, and I been around while in the Military.

Regarding bus 229 I came from Europe to Houston 10 years ago never bought a car in my whole life. And I really like taking the bus just because it is less expensive. Really bad is now since I relocated to the katy/Houston area i have to either buy a car or walk every time 2 miles. And the bus passing up fry westgreen and other major roads with no bus stop๐Ÿ˜ค. I really like Houston but the public transportation here is really bad for a city like Houston what is every day and year growing
