I believe in separating the children into 2 groups. One group wants to learn so let’s call them group A. Then the students that don’t particularly care to learn are group f and we move them out of our way. All phones are collected. It takes more than a teacher to teach class. I recall helping when my3 children were in Harpeth valley. Of course we can tell by there paper they need extra help to grasp the concept and once they get it it’s like someone flipped a switch on. So try to get 3 volunteers for each day to be willing to see what part of the paper is he not grasping. He could be dyslexic. Even being dyslexic children can read and understand. They just learn it a different way but they are just as smart as the top student in your class. All the mobile phones should be put into a box on the teachers desk turned off. Remove the box into a drawer so they don’t get the shakes. Lol.

Hattie Cotton Stem Elementary Terrible administration!! Special Ed has ADHD and they have her teaching kids with disorders!! Suspending children with disabilities..wheel chair bound, physically disabled and mentally disabled!! Worst year with the current incompetent principal Jocelyn Adams!! Apparently she caters to normal kids, with no problems. They have repeatedly disrespected my son and I.

"MNPS has taken millions of dollars out of schools and not paying enough money for the teachers and bus drivers" SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!

Need to throw the whole board away. I plan on taking these people to court once school is out.

People from the District need to do someone about the Glencliff cluster! Wright Middle School is a complete mess. Wright needs to be tamed. I know behavior wise Glencliff High School needs a boost as well. This district is the worst I have ever seen. If I could move away from this area to escape this failing District I could. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE NOW! Since students in Middle and High school can’t act straight, I suggest Metro starts having demerits. Or any behavioral discipline that is used by Elementary Schools, which is ridiculous.
