    I have worked with Dr. Busseniers since 1990 when we were both working at Georgetown University Hospital. She directed the Endocrine Cytopathology conferences there and enthusiastically instructed us on the fine points of thyroid cytopathology. For the last 9 years, I have been lucky enough to in the same office as Dr. Busseniers. She provides on-site cytopathology readings so that the patients on whom I perform ultrasound guided aspirations can have the piece of mind of knowing that enough material was obtained. Often because of her expertise, I am even able to provide a preliminary diagnosis. Dr. Busseniers has an excellent grasp of cytopathology and is up-to-date on the latest molecular tests available. That combination makes her a great asset for the care of my patients.
