  I’ve being going here since I moved to the Monmouth county area in 2000. It has gone thru a number of management transitions. It’s a great place to go and you can make it your home town bar. For me, that’s what it is. The new manager here is great. The sushi is very good and the quality you can count on. Friday nights for happy hour and dinner have been my favorite time here. When I walk in the staff is always personable and friendly.

  This place is amazing! It's like stepping into a museum with works of art placed on every corner and the good food is a plus. Try their great selection of panini sandwiches with a fresh made frulati, and don't forget the fudge brownies!

  Metropolitan Cafe is a very special spot. Only open for breakfast and lunch, it's a great spot for a homemade lunch in downtown Dallas. They have daily lunch specials that are delicious - Wednesdays are my favorite, when the Metropolitan serves crab cakes. They also have delicious cakes made by Yaya - they are so great, we often order them for birthdays and other occasions.

  Great little gem, sandwiches were great, bread was thin and lightly toasted and the cake was amazing! Service was wonderful!

  Great place for breakfast and lunch. Love the crab cakes, chicken special on Friday. The Greek salad is phenomenal. Competitive prices for coffee and amazing eggs. Also, place has a lot of local history. I learn something new from the owner every time I walk in there.
