  The secret is it's the same guy running between the phone store and the mail store, that's why only one is open at a time! Sometimes he sits outside on a stool between the two. Otherwise he locks the door to one while he helps customers at the other one. What's his story? How'd he get this job? Why does he keep up the farce? Just one of the weird little things around town.

  I don't use the MetroPCS store, I use the attached/affiliated "Capitol Hill Mail & Parcel" to receive packages on my behalf, as the security in my building is terrible. If I could give 2 1/2 stars, I would, because about two out of three times I stop by, it's a solid 4-star place. (One star removed from 5 because the lock on the outside door to the mailroom sometimes takes what feels like 10 minutes to finally "click" and open.) But the other third of the time (seems to always be on Monday) they are completely MIA. I have had multiple packages miss a delivery attempt because the courier reported "business closed," but the delivery attempt, in one specific example, was at ~3:30pm. When I stopped by a little after 5, there was a sign on the door that said "back in 15 minutes." I have no idea whether they were gone for 15 minutes when the delivery guy came through, and then they came back, and then I just missed them again -- or if they were just gone all day. (It didn't matter to me, anyway, since my package hadn't been delivered, so I'd have to wait another day anyway. I didn't wait around.) Just today I went to pick up a package that was delivered on Saturday; I didn't notice the time and when I got there a few minutes past 7 on Saturday, the place was locked up. (No surprise, since they close at 7.) They're not open on Sunday, so after work today I finally made it there around 6:30. Again, the place is locked up. No sign saying "Back in 15 minutes," but behind the metal gate you can see the store hours posted on the door: Monday; close: 7:00. That's 1 minute ago as I write this, and I had to walk back home, call the place (no answer, no voicemail), and then finally decided to compose this review. So, clearly I was there well before 7:00. Two Mondays in a row they are MIA. This has happened a couple other times; I brought it up once to the guy who is usually working weekdays (except Monday -- long hair, beard, cool guy) and he said the Monday guy had the flu. I haven't asked about the 3-4 other times since then, but I plan to do exactly that tomorrow immediately after work.

  This place sucks. They have no phones they have no answers they have no space they have no customer service because they have no customers their phones are more expensive than any other Metro store. It's too bad I cannot give them a negative star rating. Ok

  This is a whole in the wall place, they have no products to view it's like a walkthrough pay and go.... Never offered insurance for my phone, didn't offer any product's for phone I mean it's okay if you just paying your bill. Don't expect much and there is only enough room for 3 people at one time...... If you're in a car, bus, and blink you might pass the place and miss it.......

  My husband and I came here with two new phones all charged up and ready for someone to port our old numbers and leave our current service provider. When we walked in, there was one man behind the counter who seemed friendly. After we explained what we needed he complained about us arriving right before they close (We showed up more than 25 minutes before closing time) and took our phones and seemed very irritated with us. Instead of staying to have what we would've liked done in the store, my husband asked if we could do any of this ourselves at home and requested an 800 number in case we needed help. My husband and I left, 800 number in hand. We don't plan on returning to this particular store due to the negative attitude of the staff.
