  Auberge très bien, très propre, petit déjeuné inclus au top, on recommande vraiment cette auberge, ravie du séjour passé la bas 😊 Seulement une mauvaise isolation dans la chambre des filles car nous entendions les voitures passer

  This hostel was fantastic. Great atmosphere, great people, great staff. As for comments that it's a bad or scary neighborhood, it appears some people are too quick to make judgments. I stayed for 10 days, explored, walked around -- no problems. This is truly a culturally rich area of Los Angeles, known as Melrose Hill, next to Hollywood. Check out Burgerim ("burgerim" means "many hamburgers" in Hebrew), a hamburger outlet from Israel; try some of the phenomenal food at the Mexican food truck on Romaine Street just off Western by the Smart & Final supermarket; try the Latino sweet bread and other treats; there's a great choice of Guatemalan, Salvadoran, and other Latino cuisine to choose from; and, of course, Koreatown borders on the neighborhood. The renowned Hollywood Forever Cemetery and Paramount Pictures studios are both a close walk away (check out the Paramount Pictures tours). Hollywood Boulevard is walking distance, and there's easy access to the beaches and downtown L.A. (if you're a bookstore buff, definitely check out The Last Bookstore on South Spring Street in downtown L.A.). This hostel is highly recommended, and comes at a great price.

  If you wanna stay some friendly place in LA you must stay at Melrose Hostel . People are amazing. Stuffs are super cool specially Adalhi and Agosto . Definitely I will come back again 😊😊😊. Thank you all of you guys .

  The hostel is great,but one of your worker has too go. Understanding weed shouldn't be smoked out front, don't yell at people for one who had nothing to do with it and 2 don't yell period, and three if you don't like weed on the property, say that don't say as soon as walk out the front door is ok and proceed to yell like a creep. Not cool. Today is Jan 13 2018, you Gus have him working today.

  These guys have some class. Superb hostel with great setup. Very clean and tidy. I think the owner has travelled around the world in hostels and implemented some of the best practices from everyone . It does have limited showers but I am nitpicking here. Also, some of the residents during my stay their were there to find work which kind of dampens the vibe a little.
