  At Self check out had security guard waiting behind me as if i were a criminal. This one particular self check should have had a sticker or something on it stating that it was credit card use only. I walked up to one that was closest to the clerk attending the self check out in case I had any issues all self check out were empty. I scanned my first item then bagged it the screen read that it only accepts credit cards so I pressed yes I intended to use a credit card anyway after that I realized the scan of my first item did not go through and I had to scan it again it finally showed up on the screen and I proceeded to scan the rest of my items. No greetings or smiles from the two clerks in front of me and I turned to my left thinking it was another patron only to see a security guard waiting to possibly apprehend.Not a friendly place to shop for sure. EDIT: So when initially scanning my first item which beeped as though it registered as being scanned the beep was only to inform me that the self check out i was at only accepts credit cards. So this is why I preferred credit use only signage instead of scanning my first item being interrupted with screen prompt telling me this is credit card only self check out thinking my first initial item scanned had gone through and have security waiting within inches behind me breathing down my neck.

  Clean store, mostly has good stock, polite staff. Great prices. Been going here since I was a kid in the late 1970s! I really like the new redesign both inside and out. I wish the pharmacy could stay open until midnight. Pharmacy drive thru much better now too. Would be nice if they carried some Halal meats in the meat dept. I think they are missing out on 15% of the Canton population.

  I stopped coming here because the customer service is so bad. But today I came in because they have the shoes my three year-old old loves that just got a hole in it. The checkout representative told me I had to go find the item that didn’t have a tag on it. And then when I scanned it after walking back halfway across the store, the screen was paused and I had to wait several minutes. Then she demanded that I go put it back in the store because she said it was my job. I never have bad customer service interactions, I have no idea what is wrong with this place! But I will continue shopping at Walmart (Walmart plus delivery is amazing).

  This store has some real issues, bottle return is outside and always has broken or full machines, brand new self check out always has a couple registers down and long lines, only a couple of registers with a person. Long waits at customer service with only one worker there. They just remodeled the store but took out the dressing rooms, I no longer buy clothes there. They are routinely out of common items like apple juice, so I have to stop at Walmart to get what Meijer didn't have. I've been a loyal shopper for decades but the Belleville store is exceptionally bad, I only use it because it's convenient.

  Clean well run store. Just remodeled, well layed out, great spacing , excellent selection of products and brands. The customer service desk is always staffed with friendly employees which is better than most similar stores I have shopped in. Easy customer service checkouts. Exceptional online coupon program with their mperks that is easy to use.
