  We loved our wedding cakes from meemos!! They were a hit with our guests!! The cakes fulfilled our guest count too!!

  The cake and cupcakes were beautiful and delicious!!!!! Beautiful wedding cake! They offered a big variety of cakes and flavors that were to die for!!! Meemo's had a professional and experienced staff and were very low maintenance! We love them and will be getting cakes and cupcakes from them for more than just events! Amazing taste and presentation! Top notch bakery!!!

  For my son's birthday party, I ordered a vanilla cake with strawberry filling. I emailed the images I wanted on the cake so that they can create edible images on the cake. When I arrived to pick up the cake, I waited for them to finish the cake (I understood I was about 15 minutes early from the time I told them I would be there, so that wasn't an issue for me.) I didn't realize at the time that the reason I was waiting was because they were putting the edible images on the cake. I thought it was strange since I ordered 3 days prior. When I finally looked at the cake, there was an air bubble under the edible image on the top of the cake. I figured it would go down or I can lightly press it down when I get home. I did my best to let that go. When I took it out of the box at home, the bubble got worse and there were more around the edge of the cake. At this point I'm mad, but there's not much I can do with the birthday party only hours away. Finally, the moment comes to cut the cake. Oh boy. It was the color blood red! I was so confused! It was supposed to be vanilla (white cake) with strawberry filling! Everyone at the party said "oh! It's red velvet!" No. It was not. I have no idea what flavor it was, but it was not red velvet. Didn't taste like strawberry. It tasted like chocolate of some sort. Plus, it was pretty dry and extremely sweet (too sweet to finish a piece) Now I'm pissed off! I am a patient woman with a gentle heart. But when I have to put a cake on credit because it costs $65 for an 8 inch! It should taste, look, and be great and as I wanted or thought it would be. This experience felt like my order was just thrown together last minute. I truly felt that I was not important to them. My husband and I agreed that we will never buy from Meemos Bakery. I urge anyone reading this to think carefully about ordering from here. I'm going back to Lucy's cakes on the west side even if I have to drive further.
