    Was told the story of how a very young, pregnant person was badly treated. When she transferred, she had to receive lifesaving surgery. When she tried to transfer, the hospital ist DENIED her transfer because they didn’t like her. She’s carrying a life and in PAIN … I hope that hospitality was fired in the worst type of way. DISGUSTING

    DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!!! THESE PEOPLE HAD BLOOD TEST POPPING UP SHOWING THAT I HAD KIDNEY DISEASE AND ANEMIA AND HAVE DONE NOTHING TO GIVE ME ANY UNDERSTANDING OF THE BLOOD TEST I'VE HAD TO DO THE RESEARCH AFTERWARD TO REALIZE HOW CLOSE TO DEATH'S DOOR I WAS AS THEY SHOT ME UP WITH A COCKTAIL BECAUSE I TOLD HIM I WAS GOING TO SUE THEM AND THEN PROCEEDED TO HAVE A PSYCHIATRIST TALK TO ME HOURS AFTERWARD AND IGNORE ME AS I'M TELLING THEM I'M IN PAIN. I HAD CLEAR SIGNS OF ACIDOSIS AND I WAS IN PAIN BECAUSE OF THE ACIDOSIS AND I COULD HAVE DIED THEY DID NOTHING! BY THE WAY THEIR CLIENT ADVOCATES OR PATIENT ADVOCATE DOESN'T ADVOCATE FOR YOU THEY PROTECT THE HOSPITAL. IF ANYBODY HAS ANY STORIES ABOUT THEM PLEASE FEEL FREE TO REACH OUT I PLAN ON HAVING THEM AUDITED AND HOPEFULLY SUED AND I'D LOVE TO HELP YOU.

    I went in to ER because I was having trouble breathing. Left me sit 40 minutes before talking to me.The EMT drawing blood was great as were the nurse and PA's intaking me. They finally put me in a room and the nurse Tina C. came. Was the worst unfeeling person ever. She was rude every time she talked or did anything. She stabbed my nose for covid but for some reason they never actually ran the test. Doctor didn't seem to believe me I couldn't breathe. Waited for 7 hours while they ran tests. They had to redraw my blood because it sat too long and coagulation set in,it was no good. They said they couldn't find any reason I can't breathe..sent me home. I waited 2 days for the covid results and that's when I found they never ran it.😡 sad I would never go back here again and will tell everyone I know not to go here either.

    In 2020 I had to switch to The Medical Center of Aurora for my yearly mammogram based on insurance coverage and I had the procedure done in June. Two months after the mammogram I received an invoice. I called and explained this is a covered yearly wellness check and to send it through my insurance company. I called my insurance company who said it should be covered but was declined because they coded it incorrectly. They said they would review the claim/bill and contact my insurance company if needed to take care of it. Then in October of 2020 I received another bill and I called again, explain exactly the same info again, and they said they would open a review again. I called my insurance company who told me they had provided the info again about calling the provider line to get guidance on correct claim coding. I called The Med Center back again and they said not to worry, they would take care of it. In January 2021 I received yet another bill stating it was the last invoice before being sent to collections. Again I called the billing department and again they said they would open a review. I told them they had already done this and suggested they just call the insurance company provider line to get guidance on coding to get payment and get this straightened out....the customer service agent told me that my insurance company could also call them!!! I was floored!!! Don't they want to get paid? Isn't this their job?! In March 2021 I received a bill from a collections agency, even though they told me they would freeze the account so that I wouldn't have any negative impacts. I made more calls and found out they finally correctly coded procedure so that the insurance company would pay it. They told me sending it to collections was a mistake, they bill was paid, and there would be no impacts to my credit. I'd like to believe this is true, but I will be following up to make sure the balance is zero and to make sure it doesn't show up on my credit report. I have no idea if this is an unusual situation or if The Medical Center of Auroras billing department is really this inept....my advice would be just don't test fate, go somewhere else. I will be driving to Boulder or Colorado Springs if I have to in order to avoid going here for any appointment or procedure ever again.
