McDonald's is located in the center of downtown San Francisco it was one of our first places to choose as we were walking down to do the trolley ride. I do know McDonald's is always very affordable and the kids always seem to love something off of their menu whether it's from the dollar menu or anything else if they can order from Happy Meals to Big Macs our family has grown up with McDonald's and I'm pushing 50 so in saying that it's always a fun trip to go with the kids no matter where it's located at

I stopped in for breakfast and ordered a couple sausage burritos and a couple sausage McMuffin with egg sandwiches (I planned on giving some food the the homeless fellow outside). The lady didn’t enter my order in the register and told me a “price total” for my order. When she gave me the food, I asked for a receipt and all of a sudden my food was less then she told me. She wouldn’t let me speak with the manager either. I will never return to this place as the employees seem to steal from both the customers and the restaurant itself....

Long line. One cashier open at dinner time. Took 9 1/2 mins after ordering to get a cheeseburger and french fries. 2 stars for fresh & hot fries.

It's in a convenient location and typically well-staffed. The dining area upstairs is usually packed and you'll be solicited frequently. The downstairs dining is usually fine and quiet unless there's a group of teenagers. The main issue with this place is that there's no bathroom, you will be solicited when you leave and enter, and the food is usually over or under cooked when it gets busy because it gets really busy. It is in a convenient location for fast food. I would recommend Corner bakery for better service and sandwiches on the slightly pricier end and Carambas for better service but Mexican food on the cheaper end. They are both within 2 blocks of McDonald's. Super Duper Burger is also down the street if you're craving French fries. Or try The Bird.
