  Great food and service. Breakfast is served around the clock although their dinner and lunch choices are also satisfying. The portions are just enough- no doggy bag needed while you walk up and down Collins. Tips are included so be sure to pay attention to your bill prior to tipping. You can sit outside and be serenaded by local musicians and people watch. It's a short walk to the SLS Hotel which had plenty of pool parties for spring break. I went to this restaurant twice during my stay by choice. The alcoholic beverages were also tasty and made well.

  I visited Maxine's with a friend. We were attending a seminar at the Miami Beach Woman's Club nearby and stopped by for lunch. We sat outdoors and watched lively South Beach crowds walking up and down Collins Avenue. Maxine's is an excellent people-watching spot,by the way. The food was delicious. Breakfast is served till 3 PM and has a wide variety of options. In the end, we settled on fish tacos and a burrito. The restaurant manager Chris was very sweet and treated us to a complimentary freshly squeezed orange juice. We had a great time. I would recommend this place for a family gathering (they have large tables), lunch with friends, or a romantic dinner. Indoor setting is very pretty as well but outdoor vibes are even better.

  Amazing food and service! Staff was super friendly and well educated on the menu. Everything out party of 4 ordered was incredible! Wish our trip was longer so we could come back! Love music on Sunday was a welcome addition!

  My husband and I had the steak and mashed potatoes with a cabernet and it was absolutely wonderful. He said it was the best steak he had ever had and I was so impressed with how good just the vegetables were!! Everything was amazing including the live music that set the mood for a casual night out in Miami. Anyone staying on Collins Ave, needs to experience this delightful bistro.

  Perfect spot for people watching. Huge food selection with good music starting in the afternoon. Our server Jelena definitely made it more memorable, without her I wouldn't give it 5 stars.
