::I came in this afternoon to browse some mattresses and spoke to Bryan H, who couldn't have been more helpful. I told him I wasn't interested in buying anything today, simply looking, and he couldn't have been more respectful, answering my questions and giving me space. Then the other guy, whose name I didn't get, really sunk his teeth into me. Bryan told him that I wasn't looking to buy, but he persisted with every sleazy trick in the book to try to get me to buy today. At one point he said, "If you buy today, I'll give you a sweet freakin deal." I said, "Define sweet freakin deal." And he said, "Well you're not buying today." Quite a stalemate! After a bit of awkward silence he persisted with more of this type of thing, finally offering a price as long as I picked up the mattress rather than having it delivered. I said no again, that I wasn't looking to do any transactions today. He went on with lines like, "Just put down 70, 80 bucks." More resistance from me. More persistence from him. He finally said, "We don't make a freakin nickel." I've never heard a salesman use the word "freakin" twice in a few minutes to try to strong arm a customer into buying something he has no interest in buying that day. He also mentioned totally unsolicitedly that he's been "doing this for 15 years," like he's a professional - what an amateur! I felt I got more low-level sales tactics in those 5 minutes than I have in the previous 10 years of my life. Needless to say, I will not buy a mattress at that store and walked out like I needed a shower to wash to filth off of me. And I also feel bad for Bryan H, who as I mentioned, couldn't have been more respectful of the distance I was asking for. Anyway, that other guy really needs to learn to lay off and LISTEN to his potential customers, instead of trying to work them against their will.

::Peter was anazing; knowledgeable, helpful and offered great service. We went in just browsing and ended up buying 2 new beds. Can't wait for them to be delivered. Several other Mattress Firm locations are closer but driving to the Mount Kisco location was worth it. I recommend you check them out and tell Peter Elaine sent you. You won't be disappointed.

::Extremely knowledgeable staff. Peter helped me find a great mattress and when the deal he offered was no longer available to me he went out of his way to make sure I got what I was initially offered. I had looked at a few other Mattress Firm locations prior to stopping at Mount Kisco, and did not get nearly as friendly or helpful service. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good deal.
