::Today I brought my students from Denver Christian HS to visit Massjid Abu Bakr. We were warmly welcomed and we had a great conversation with Imam Shafi. It was time well spent and I hope that we have opportunity to join together again as communities of faith.

::My dad helped build this place. For some reason I’m always drawn to it for Friday prayers. It’s too bad the community is so divided. Why have a mosque here and there and a school here and here when this can be the center of it all. Makes it frustrating to see that there are 13 mosques in a two mile radius....
