::My favorite grocery chain in Los Angeles! Healthy options are always available and the variety is amazing! The juice bar is always fully stocked and that's my personal fave thing about this place!

::I found good and cheap Japonese food there. It is cheaper than Little Tokyo and the quality is similar.

::After I made my purchase, as we were leaving, the security guard profiled & falsly accused my friend of stealing. Although we were inside the market for less than 5 minutes we were held for over an hour for them to check the cameras and confirm nothing was stolen. During this time, someone swiped my purchase, as I had set it down during the lengthy wait. The store manager and security guard, both do not speak English. Several other employees got involved and told me the store manager decided my purchase would not be replaced or refunded. By this point, my racially profiled hispanic friend had left out of embarrassment and 4 employees were circled around me trying to convince me this was my fault for leaving my groceries unattended. I pleaded with them to correct the situation but they refused. Nothing..but the feeling of being wronged and repeatedly told I was at fault. I am a local resident and who would purchase from this store several times a week. The restaurant I cook at, would regularly pick up items from this store. Disappointed by the way this was handled, I nor my restaurant will return.

::This market kinda brings me back to Japan shopping in markets there. Looking over items I used to buy when I was there. Great prices for most of the items and cheaper than other markets nearby.
