  Great place to buy some delicious gorditas! My go to place if I am craving authentic fresh gorditas! Typical Mexican food on the menu but they excel at making Corpus Christis best tasting gorditas..large varity of fillings. I highly recommend chicharon guisado! Tasty and the perfect spiciness. The masa is cooked to perfection and it will surely satisfy your taste. The location inside is clean and has plenty of space. Worth a try!

  Arrived as the lady was very kind and quick to take order. However, when I opened to eat and share the meal it was noticed to be in a purred form. It’s grease exceeded the meats content, but mostly tasteless as well as the sauce. On a positive note, I had been there before where the meet was much more intact than todays. Please educate me was I supposed to identify the meat differently at the time of purchase? I’d like to return for meat that suites a taco? Not squashy or purée.

  It's actually ZERO STARS!! Everytime we order barbacoa at Marroquin's we request Cachete Entero (whole cheek meat) and we NEVER get what we request!! We paid $21.00 for 1-1/2 pounds this morning and we got at least half a pound of lengua!! Other times it's been brisket!! What's the difference? Lengua and brisket are dry and stingy meat 😡 This is the only place that you have to check your order before driving off because they will not refund you or exchange it! Now I remember why we stopped eating here. Very disappointing and unsatisfying!! People check your orders!!

  This is the only place I'll eat Mexican food. It's authentic Mexican food. Never had a bad dish. Chips and salsa are bomb. Don't let this little ol' place fool you.
