::The Mark Spencer is fantastic! Ian at reception made sure to make our anniversary stay special. The rooms are gorgeous and the location is perfect. Don't forget wine and cheese hour! The Mark Spencer is a new favorite place to stay for us.

::The hotel is very nice, room was spacious. T Top Floor provides a great view of downtown. Looking out gives you a real feel for the city of Portland and how it operates. Ian, then gentlemen who checked me in on Monday, remembered my name every time we crossed paths. Ian checked me in and provided me his name, and he wears a name tag, but I personally could not recall his name. Just shows he is dedicated to giving the guest a satisfactory stay. Promote this young man!

::Had a great stay. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fitness center is small, with one treadmill, one elliptical, and weight machine. The only thing holding back a five star is that as an older refurbished property, I could hear the upstairs guest walking around and the public transport train pass in front of the hotel every so often.

::My room had a great view. The building has character, and the room decor is nice. The staff were nice, my room was clean, had the most amazingly comfortable bed and sheets I've ever encountered at a hotel. The only downside is the daily valet fee. Due to the area you don't have much choice but to use their lot.

::Had a great stay at the Mark Spencer Hotel. Room was well appointed and you could tell it had been redone in the last couple years. The hotel is very close to downtown and the Pearl district but also has a bunch of great restaurants and shopping right out the door. Staff was very friendly and the wine happy hour was a plus. Would definitely recommend for anyone to stay here.
