Excellent food. Beautiful restaurant. The only thing I wish that they would do is make their own black bread. No complaints.

This was a pleasant surprise because as far as I knew, I hated Russian food. Mari Vanna was beautiful, loved the decor and ambiance. There was live music including an accordion player who was friendly and fun. All the wait staff was pleasant, lots of heavy accents but I appreciate the experience that adds. The food was delicious. With a generous party of 5 I was able to try multiple dishes and all where tasty.

Don't go with more than 4 people. Half the meals were barely warm. The other half came late, but hot. They forgot our soup. Took them 10 minutes to get us our check from time of request to receiving the check. The only saving grace was they gave us a flight of vodka for forgetting the soup.

Super authentic! The staff only speaks limited English an strong accent. Loved it! They were so friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and presented well. I have spent time in Russia and this place does a great job of recreating a Russian atmosphere. The portions were a little on the small side and the explanations by the dishes were not overly helpful in really describing what the dish actually is for someone who in not families with Russian dishes. However, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dining experience.

Perfect date spot for vegans and meat eaters alike!! Ask for separate vegan menu. I got the mushroom and onion dumplings for my main entree and pumpkin soup to start! A great combo. The waitresses often wear peter pan collar dresses (vintage) and the atmosphere is loud, but intimate. I sat by the window but the upstairs has a nice view too. The decor is amazing. Old English rustic with a little Russian flair. Big rustic menu, elegant tableware. Perfect weekend treat for two!
