I said a couple years ago that this school was 5 stars. That was a lie. Don’t come to Marcy. As a person of color it was a negative experience. Would not recommend

This school is just a school, there is nothing special about it, the food is garbage but you learn to deal with it and that shouldn't be the deciding factor in choosing a school for your precious angel child. If your lil devil has Autism or some other mental disease, you should come to Marcy, we have only the best condescending, middle aged child molesters to take care of your baby, or first grader. Marcy is very divers, which is mainly good, you get a multitude of perspectives and from a variety of different cultures, but then as always you get those kids who just moved here from the shady side of town and have a smirk burned in to not only their wretched face but also into their personality and dialect. And this brings me to my next point; the teachers have absolutely no class control, they will either clap at you until their hands turn visibly red, or they will shout until forced to use the pity approach in which they complain about their voice hurting or that they have had a rough day. Now on me, the pity card works fine on me but for those other kids who think that they're all that, they could not care less, I think that they might actually be a bit happy when a teacher starts to whine. But, I digress, this is not the teachers fault it is the parents fault for no knowing how to teach their kids how to be a respectable person. One good thing about this school is the education, in between the teachers incessant yelling and clapping, when you actually learn, you learn some pretty cool stuff, like how to write and speak proper English, like this essay I learned how to type this kind of easy at school (which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it). So basically what I am saying is, if your kid is an Ass hat and/or does not have a stomach that can ingest solid sewer matter, do not send them to this school, otherwise all people welcome. -Cynically, Jorge Martinez

I went here a while back and thought that I'd warn anyone who is thinking about sending their child here. My memories alone are enough for me not to ever want to lay eyes on that place again. Most of the teachers were awful, acted like they hated me along with many other students. Kids there were the worst, too. I had the lovely experience of tasting dirt, people of the bus would eat bugs and worms on dares, everyone seemed to just despise being there. I would stop eating lunch because it was so awful, but there are a few upsides that have probably been removed by now. Just a couple of nice teacher that stopped coming after less than half a year, sometimes we would dress up for a holiday. Either way, i'm finally in a better school and would advise you do not bring your children here. We are required by the school to look happy for any visiting guests please see through the fake smiles honestly it's a hell hole.
