  I was under the impression that the hotel had been renovated, but that cannot be the case, as most surfaces and furnishings are scratched, nicked, and beaten. The bed and pillows are of the lumpiest, lowest quality I have suffered in any hotel in a long time, including much more simple places. Doors to other rooms slam and the whole floor shakes, housekeeping staff shouts up and down the hallway, while their carts linger much of the day outside the rooms. Staff at the restaurant is equally as unimpressive, at least at breakfast. The check in was not easy. What remains is a great location and wonderful views (and, if/when renovated, sizable rooms). The Mandarin Miami suffers by comparison to other hotels in its category, even in notoriously low-service Miami. For instance, the Setai is incomparably better in every way and, for roughly the same cost, a preferred option unless you absolutely need to be in Brickell.

  I took my family here for brunch to celebrate mother's day. We saw the lobby and it was really beautiful and luxurious. I ate from the buffet and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend if you want an awesome experience I guarantee you'll enjoy and never forget.

  Great place to stay! Really worth 5 stars. The staff is very polite and helpful. The service excelent and leaves no doubt, that this is a 5 Star plus hotel. One little dent is the furnishing on the rooms. It is some years old and kind of worn out. But not really an issue at all. Simply ask for another room and they will do whats possible. Been there three times, all together 6 Weeks - was the best time of my life!

  Looking for water views and great ambiance for happy hour? This is the place! Service is amazing, live music after 8:30 pm. And the appetizers are small portions but good. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

  What a beautiful and upscale hotel! About 20 minutes from Miami International Airport. On a little island that is great to walk around. It has its own little beach although you can't swim from the beach. Pool area is excellent with bar and food. Although both are fairly expensive. Rooms and views are awesome! Turn down service in your room at night is a great addition. Can't say enough about this place! Very beautiful and staff was all Fantastic!!!!
