::Though the tasting room is very nice and the service was friendly, two small (emphasis on SMALL) tastings were $60. 5 wines, best guess between .5 and 1 oz pours. I'd be happy with what we were served at a $10 price point.. but come on, each taste is more expensive than a bottle! Edit: Updating review based on wine we brought home, very good!

::Great people and great wines! They are so attentive and nice. Truly one of my favorite vineyards.

::The best wines on Long Island that I've tried to date. Beautiful vineyard and lovely tasting room. Hoghly recommended.

::Had the chance to visit the Macari Vineyards earlier this Spring and what a wonderful experience. From arriving into their gorgeous building and been greeted with a warm morning welcome from the Hostess to tasting amazing wines and sharing experiences with a fantastic host, Gibson. I was responsible to arrange a team outing to a vineyard and choosing to visit Macari was the best decision possible. The team throughout enjoyed the experience and had a outstanding time during the visit. Gibson lead us through an excellent and informative tour of the facilities and had a thoughtful choice of wines and cheese pairing waiting for us at the Private Barrel Cellar – not forgetting the music selection which added a grand touch to the visit. And may I add that the Private Barrel Cellar is just stunningly beautiful!! If you ever have the chance to visit it, don't think twice. When you visit Macari (yes, I'm assuming you are going already because is just a great experience) try to have a chat with Gibson about the Vineyard and wines in general. You can see that he is truly passionate about his work.

::Wife and I headed there for an afternoon of wine and pizza, and it was delicious. We heard that they were 'pet friendly' so we cautiously gave it a try with our 1yo lab mutt Dixie. She was welcomed (inside and outside) with probably more excitement than us! The staff were all extremely friendly, knowledgeable and even attentive to our dog. They even brought her out a bowl of water and some treats. The wine flights were delicious and they took the time to work with you based on your tastes. The pizza trailer in the back was quick and delicious. Great wine, great food, great staff and dog friendly...we are already planning our next trip back!
