  I've been going to Mabry Dental for a couple of years now and I have been very pleased with the care I have received. I have seen both Dr. Mabry and Dr. Kemp and found both of them to be very pleasant and clear when talking with you about your dental health. The entire team has been a delight. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family. I also want to highlight my experience with Dr. Abril, the periodontist at this office. I'd been closely monitored for gum recession for many years and finally decided it was time to have it dealt with before it got worse. I had a consult with Dr. Abril and felt at ease with my decision to have the graft after talking with him. The office staff did an excellent job of making sure I had my prescriptions leading up to my appointment and Dr. Abril gave me a prescription that helped to settle my nerves. I'd heard some horrible things from friends and acquaintances about how terrible gum graft surgery can be, but Dr. Abril did an excellent job and I honestly had very little pain during my recovery. His post-op instructions were clear and also provided in writing to answer all of the questions you might have (I was also a bit loopy from the meds, so the written directions were very handy!). I've had a couple of follow-up appointments and one small follow-up procedure since and Dr. Abril has been very thorough in explaining what I can expect as I heal and answered all of my questions. The graft area looks excellent now 3.5 months later and I couldn't be happier! If you're looking for a periodontist, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Abril.

  I've been at this practice my whole life. Both doctors are incredibly nice and friendly. The practice is run well and I've never waited more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. Parking is easy too and emergency appointments have always been easy to book. Would highly recommend.

  The fact that I'm writing a Google review for a dentist is saying something, Dr. Mabry and his staff are the best. I have been a patient here for about 7 years and have never had a bad experience. I've done everything from regular checkups to fillings to Invisalign and so I'm in the office more than once or twice a year. Beth, Sarah, and Kathy work at the front desk and they keep things moving like a well-oiled machine. They help fit you in around your schedule, they help make sure you understand costs, and they are great at working with insurance to make sure patients minimize their out-of-pocket costs. It is so worth the 10-minute drive out of DC to get to their practice. When you live in a city and most of your medical professionals treat you like a number, I really value having a dentist and his staff that treat you like you're part of the family and remember your name. I actually look forward to going to the dentist instead of dread it, I fully recommend anyone looking for a new dentist to try them out!
