  DON'T USE LUCKY DOG PET CARE! Not dependable or reliable! The walkers show up late, if they even show up at all and some walkers are intoxicated. The dogs are neglected that are being boarded at the "facility" (eg. Dogs don't get outside very often, pee and poop inside, don't get fed when they should and are alone most of their stay). Employees don't ever work at Lucky Dog Pet Care for very long so it's always a different person entering your house and walking your dog.

  We've taken our Basenji to Lucky Dog for over 6 years. Mike and Russell are the only ones who I can trust to watch our Basenji, because they have a Basenji too! It's such a relief to leave for a trip and know our Basenji is in good hands, it's the one thing I never have to worry about. Overall they seem to really care about the dogs that come stay with them and I can't imagine taking ours anywhere else. They've even accommodated us on short notice whenever we've been in a bind and needed to bring our Basenji over for a few hours. If these guys can handle a Basenji (or two at the same time), then they know what they're doing. Not all places can live up to that and that's why we've been very fortunate to have a local place to bring our Basenji for years.

  I never write reviews but this place deserves it. They are SUPER accommodating and treat your dogs like royalty. Mike especially does a phenomenal job to make the customer happy. I HIGHLY recommend!

  I have never worked with people as nice and as accommodating as Mike and the rest of the crew. The flexibility to accommodate on short notice and around my ever changing schedule during the three days spent in Minneapolis...They could not have been nicer and I never felt the typical anxiety I get when my dog is not with me. Two major thumbs up! I will be calling again when life leads me back to Minneapolis.

  We have used Lucky Dog for both dog sitting and dog walking services. They have always been available and extremely helpful....even on short notice. Lucky Dog's efforts on the front end to meet our dog and learn about her routines was very important in our decision to first use their services. They have gone out of their way to try and accommodate specific requests that we have made. I would recommend Lucky Dog for your pet care needs.
