Kara did exactly what I needed, a wonderful cut and color that didnt break the bank. The shop was trendy and very clean. I loved the music and atmosphere, and Kara delvered on a great haircut. Like the terminator, I will be back :)

Coel is the only person I've ever let trim my beard. If that's not a good enough recommendation, i don't know how to help you. She's great with cuts and magical with colors too.

TLDR; * Was not greeted for over 10 minutes (only 2 other people in tiny salon) * Was never asked questions to elaborate on how I wanted my hair done to ensure he understood * Clippers were so dull that the force used gave me a rug burn on my scalp * Was not asked if I wanted product in my hair before slathering it - I did not * Was not asked how I liked the cut at the end, and if anything needed touching up * I had to prompt to get a mirror to see what he had done to the back of my head *Haircut was C+ at best Overall not the worst haircut of my life, but definitely the worst experience. I had Tim as my hairdresser, and when I walked in it was just him and the client he was finishing up with in the salon. I was not greeted at all, no "hello, I will right with you when I finish". Nothing. I sat awkwardly for the 10ish minutes while he finished. After he finished and the previous client had left I was still not greeted. It wasn't until I stood and headed to the chair that he said anything to me. And it wasn't much of a greeting. I showed him some photos of what I wanted and sat down. He didn't ask any elaborating information, nothing. Most hairdressers I have had ask a few questions with new clients to figure out what they want. After this basic setup of what I want I then have one of the most painful haircut experience of my life. His clippers were incredibly dull and he had to force them into my head to clip my sides. I have a bit of a rash on the back of my head where the friction irritated me. Towards the end of the haircut he grabs product and starts slathering it in my head. I have ALWAYS been asked if I want product in my hair after a cut, and when it is early evening (like it was when I got my hair cut at Lucid) I always say no. I don't like going to bed with stuff in my hair, and now I need to wash it out before bed. He then continues to cut my hair another 5 or 10 minutes after blowdrying it with product. I can feel how gunky his scissors are as he tries to cut whatever he is cutting. Tim finally finishes with my hair, he cleans up my neck, and removes the cape. HE NEVER ASKS IF I LIKE IT OR NOT. I have glasses and had removed them (which reminds me, he didn't prompt to place my glasses somewhere I had to find a place to put them). I now have to prompt him for a mirror to see the back of my head verify it looks good. It doesn't, but it is presentable in public. I leave and WILL NEVER go back to this salon again. The absolute worst haircut experience I have ever had. I can get just as good a cut at supercuts for less than half the price.

    Unsatisfied Customer

I was not impressed with this salon. It was very small and seemed dingy. They have a mat at the front door which is supposed to be a place for animals to relieve themselves. To me that is unsanitary for a hair salon. It was hot like there was no air conditioning on. I believe it was the owner who did my hair and I did not like it. My hair did not feel like it was supposed to after a fresh haircut. It felt weighed down by too much product and my hair looks dried out at the layers she cut. She did not give me what I asked for. Barely any length was cut off besides the layers. The worst part was the gossip. Her and another employee gossiped the whole time about other salons and even about others who worked at hers! She was talking about a salon that I actually really liked but recently closed down which is why I even went to her. It was unprofessional and shouldn't be gossiping in front of customers. Especially when your gossiping about people who do better work than yourself.
