  Normally, not to bad. Today was the worst. 12 min in line for six people w no carts (not a lot of purchases) . Charged the wrong amount for plywood because it had no tag and cashier wasn't familiar with a tape measure or fractions. Rushed to pay because line had tripped while waiting. Had to go to returns/customers service and wait in line for 25 min to get money back. I'll be back with lower expectations next time, mostly because of its proximity to my house.

  Wow, so I wanted to leave a review for my experience today at Lowe's and I saw four one star reviews right before me. My experience was completely opposite. I have had three person helping me today at three different departments. Every single person was super helpful and friendly, as well as very knowledgeable. They really went above and beyond what they needed to help me. It was night and day compared to my experience at Home Depot few weeks ago. I will continue going to Lowe's for my DIY projects.

  Worst worst worst experience at a Lowe’s. Employees are incompetent, unfriendly, and unhelpful. Most were too busy telling me they didn’t work in that department. Others were blatantly on their cellphones. The one time I rely on asking someone knowledgeable about products I need it took me over 20 minutes to hunt down someone at all who ended up being USELESS. Who the hell is managing this store? Expect to do everything yourself or don’t bother coming.

  This has to be the worst hardware store in the Bay Area. Whenever I frequent it, which I do because I live like 4 blocks away, they always seem to be out of stock of something I need. Never bother with customer service as it's pointless. I have to help the cashiers in some cases to figure out how to get the price of an item. God forbid if the item has no label, which happens frequently due to the disarray in the store, which means you'll wait for 20 minutes for them to figure it out. The hardware/fastener section is a complete joke. It does not help that lots of customers open sealed packages/plastic bags and retrieve individual parts although it says clearly that they are not individually. And they leave a general mess afterwards, never put things back in place. Which means that box labels are pretty much meaningless.

  Went to this Lowes to pick up an online order to find people who were waiting hours for their own online orders. After reading a couple reviews went home. Came back another day same thing but waited a good hour to pick up my order. At least had comfortable benches to go along with the wait.
