  Updated: 1/1/2018... Been coming here for 3 months now, and while the Nurses and Doctors are VERY nice, and make you feel very comfortable with the whole low testosterone stigma, and the office is VERY nice looking, DON'T let the advertising fool you, the no insurance hassles claim is false. I have now found out that two VERY COMMON, and super excellent, insurances that disabled individuals use, ARE NOT accepted by them... and they are BOTH PPOs, which should be pretty much taken ANYWHERE, unlike HMOs which a extremely limited in providers. Oh, but they have an extremely "affordable" self pay option, which is $300 a month! I asked my primary physician, just now on Friday 12/29/17, bc my renewal date is coming up on Tuesday 1/2/18, if that is reasonable and he LAUGHED! He told me I should have talked to him before signing up with them, bc pretty much ANY physician can do the SAME things they do and they are relying on individuals like me who are embarrassed to talk to their regular Doctor and get drawn in by clever advertising ploys! He prescribed me my Testosterone and 2 months supply was $15! He also pulled my blood in office for the labs that they charge $50 for, my copay $15! Three months through my physician will be $45 total versus what cost me $950 for my three months at Low T Center! I did give Low T Center TWO stars because the staff IS SUPER NICE, and the wonderful nurses there do genuinely seem very caring and make you feel VERY comfortable during the entire sign up process, and the Doctors ARE VERY informative and take the time to answer your questions, but ALL IN ALL it seems the Low T Centers are using the entire low testosterone stigma to capitalize on overcharging individuals. Based on a cash price of 8 doses of testosterone for $15 dollars, I would say probably $125 a month would have been reasonable, but not $300 or more, from other reviews I've read... sorry!

  I started therapy because I had low energy, libido, it was hard to wake up on time in the mornings and it took a long time to recover from workouts. I didn't take this decision lightly, before starting therapy I had my doctor check my testosterone levels for three years, which showed low hormone levels. I started the therapy with lots of excitement but 3 months into it my hormone levels were the same as when I started. I asked the provider why I was paying $400 a month for zero results, so they increased the dosage and my levels went from about 360 to 390 total T. It was painfully obvious this level was too low for my age (mid 30's) and low energy symptoms didn't get better. After another two months my dosage was increased again and my lab work showed levels of about 450. I felt better but I asked them to increase again because I only felt good for three days and my energy levels would go back down. They finally got it up to 490 after a year. Depending on which lab is used healthy lab range ranges can be up to 800 or up to 1600. I was curious how other clinics compared to low T. I went to three other clinics and compared. I took one year of lab results to each clinic and the feedback they all gave me was that the levels were way too low. I would not recommend this company. There are many other companies that do a better job and at half the cost.
