  Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot. I've known about Lot 6 for a while, but it's recently become a favorite of mine. The place is genuine and unassuming. You come in, sidle up to a poured concrete bar and shoot the breeze. Drinks are cheap, they keep the doors open on nice days and conversation comes easy. A few touches set it apart. Instead of being "behind a bar" the barkeep is in the middle with patrons sitting all around. If you're sitting at the bar, you're never more than 7 feet from his/her attention. The setting is relaxed and low lit adding to the laid back and casual feel. This all changes on a Monday and Friday nights :). Calm digs gives way to vibrant and raucous shenanigans as karaoke performers, reluctant or otherwise take their moment in the spotlight. Did I mention it's a vape friendly establishment? That's right, bring your e-cigarette or vaporizer and puff away. IMHO, this is everything a neighborhood bar should be. The mood is always welcoming, you know the folks around the bar, and you can be yourself.

  open for diverse expression; early on to late night. Karaoke drawing you into the close, yet comfortable atmosphere. The volume of sound enveloping, the local attendees and consistent patrons only. The others experiencing feelings paramount to a secure place and intimate setting, one allowing conversation, inspiration, and a stiff drink to help contemplation. "A local favorite."
