  We came here twice. The first time was great- fresh seafood, fast service, and attentive waiters. Ate here today for the second time. The seafood was not fresh; it tasted old and like they didn't properly wash it. Three waiters were standing around talking and not serving tables. They got our servers mixed up and it took more than 15 minutes for our server to come and take our order. Server didn't check in on us or refill waters very often. Very disappointed with what could be a great restaurant. Some positives- food came out very fast, beautiful interior and live music.

  I come to the Loring every Wednesday at 7 for the free MRDR Room comedy show in the upstairs "Red Room", and I always have a great time. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is warm and comfortable, and the food/drinks are superb. This is an excellent place made better by the fact that it is employee owned and operated!

  I absolutely love this place. We wound up here as a second choice but it turned out to be the best highlight of the whole day. Unique outpost offers homemade pastas & creative eats, live music & dancing in an open, airy space. The food was fabulous and inexpensive, the service and staff were great, the music was great and we even decided to do some dancing which is saying something. Ample parking is available around the restaurant but it's not free. On the other hand it's super handicap accessible as is the restaurant itself. Highly recommended. If you are in the area make sure you stop by.

  As a parent of a college athlete, you have to take what you can get when the team is in town. I took on the challenge of planning the dinner for an entourage of 25 from the team and 15 parents (40 total). The staff at Loring Bar & Restaurant were simply amazing..... "yes" was their default answer....even on a short 10 day notice for a Saturday Dinner! Not only were we able to eat together on the west mezzanine, but we were able to order off the menu (no fixed menu!). The timing from cocktails/social hour to food was impeccable, the food was amazing, service was professional and friendly and the environment was a hit! We received compliments from so many in attendance and not one complaint. Thank you so much, we will be back! GO HAWKS!

  Awww man... Loring is wonderful!!! I have dined as a guest and utilized the facility for an event!! So I have held events and any number of venues and the Loring (yes they have a private room) goes ABOVE and BEYOND for you. The event planners are by far some of the best I’ve worked with even accommodating last minute changes for a significantly large event. Additionally the food... the food!! Everything is wonderful. I tend to get the short ribs and risotto which they are able to adapt to my dietary needs at the drop of a hat. The wine list and full bar allow you to add whatever your taste buds prefer as an accompaniment to your meal. My most recent visit was on a Friday night. Live music, outstanding service and as we were leaving found out it was turning into a Latin dance night. OUTSTANDING!! Thank you Loring for many great nights out... I would recommend a reservation. They can get busy!
