  I'm not posting pictures for the simple fact that we went in with no idea of what the Chef's tasting menu was specifically, other than the theme: Mexico City. We trusted Chef Chris to take us through his travels in Mexico with a taste of the memories he brought back, and we're thrilled to have experienced it. The food is world class and speaks for itself; it was the best meal I've ever had, and surpassed the meals I had in Salzburg and Washington DC, which were previously my favorite culinary experiences (Itzlinger Hof, Minibar, and Rogue 24). The ingredients were simple, but prepared with love. Every bite had the right textures, flavor combinations, and colors. The team even managed to win me over to a meat that I have persistently refused in the past, and never have I had it before and liked it until tonight. We were lucky enough to try most of the recent signature dishes on the menu, and highly recommend that you try each one. This is food nirvana. Come experience this for yourself, and completely reshape your views on what food can be.

  Best lamb I ever had. We did the 5 course tasting menu without the wine pairing. It was lovely. Had a great time and will be back.

  Localis is incredible. Everything from the wine selection to the staff to the food is top notch. The chef pushes the boundaries to surprise your palette with each course. I highly recommend coming hungry so you can order as much as possible. I’ve also never seen a staff so friendly and welcoming - they remembered us even after it had been a year of visiting.

  Chef Chris and his crew has taken the dining experience to a whole new level. We had the 5 course meal along with the ceviche, lamb, and octopus. In my life I have never been so happy with food. After watching them cook and plate the food, it was presented with a detailed experience that led to the creation of each dish. It was simply an amazing meal and an amazing experience. We are already looking forward to our next night out!

  Delicious food, fancy place, wonderful for a night out. Especially if you like to try new foods. But make sure you make a reservation. Gets quite busy. Also, they need to fix their toilet 🙊
