Great local music venue. Not too big, not too small. Definitely see a show here.

This place is about average for a live music venue. It is indoors of course, and is medium in size. The sound system is nice and they get a good sound inside. None of the character of the original theater remains, it is a stripped out building with few if any creature comforts. Very bare bones, but OK for a show.

A gem of a theater in downtown Raleigh. Originally from the 1940's, this is the best sounding venue in the area in my opinion, and they carry a great variety of local and national beers. Many great times had here.

The manager here was incredibly rude dealing with my sister and I. My sister is disabled and cannot stand for extended periods of time, by ADA compliance the venue is required to provide an accommodation. Upon asking for one, I was told by the manager he didn’t “have to be ADA compliant” and was unwilling to help until I called the owner of the venue. The entire attitude of the staff and owner towards handicapped people trying to enjoy a live show is abhorrent.

An excellent musical venue, with plenty of free convenient parking in the gravel lot at the side of their building. Large lower space with plenty of room to shake your bones along with decent acoustics and sound with an addiquit sizes stage for a 7 member band! Also an upper surrounding balcony if you want to be higher up! I always enjoy seeing friends playing there! They serve beer and liquor, but no food, so eat before going! Plenty of cabs outside after the show for those who shouldn't be driving!
