::Sometimes the reflecting pool is a more stunning view than the Lincoln Memorial itself. It's a great walk -- don't skip the walk by just taxiing to the Memorial! Lots of times you'll find ducks or even ducklings in the water. At night, the reflections really are fantastic.

::Great place to visit and pause to spend some reflective moments. The great legacy left behind by the fathers of this nation is worth remembering and emulating. Memories are well documented and preserved.

::It gets crowded. Very crowded. Hard to get up the steps but once you do its worth it. Probably better to go in the afternoons when you aren't toe to toe with an ocean of people. Be sure to take your time and enjoy the view.

::A must visit when you are in Washington DC. The Lincoln memorial is beautiful and status was crafted with such detail. You can see a wonderful view from the top; the reflecting view all the way to the Washington Monument.

::What a picturesque walk this is toward the Lincoln Memorial or Washington Monument. This is frozen during the winter period, the extent will obviously depend upon the weather. When I attended there were many people walking on it, something I would advice not to do. Ensure you take your time and soak up the atmosphere as you walk, it is well worth the extra couple of minutes.
