  If I could leave less than 1 star I would. I got a storage unit and the Cary location but reserved the free moving van at this location. There was a miscommunication and some how the computers double booked the moving van. These things happen and initially it was not a big deal. Wilma was the staff member we dealt with and she was BEYOND rude. She is by far the most rude, indifferent, and combative customer service employee I have ever dealt with. My friend (who was helping me move) and I drove the 30 minutes from Cary to this location to get the moving van. Upon arrival, we walked into the office and informed Wilma that we were there to pick up the moving van. She immediately said no, and when we tried to inform her that we had booked it and had just left the Cary location, she blew us off. We finally asked her to call the Cary location and try to figure out what the mix-up was which she did. She argued with the Cary location (who I have to say saved the day and their customer service was phenomenal) before telling us that we were not her customers and that she would only help her customers. This struck me as extremely condescending and though I realize they are separate locations, they are the same company and we ARE her customers. I told her that obviously this was a mix-up and not a big deal but we needed to find a solution because I needed to move out of my apartment by that weekend. My friend kindly asked if she had a solution, maybe call the other customer who also booked the van to see if his schedule was less restrictive than ours and could use the van later in the day once we finished, explaining it wouldn't hurt to at least ask which of course she said no. Finally, after her shooting down every solution we presented without offering any herself, I had had enough and walked out on her telling her she had an attitude problem and I was appalled by her lack of even the slightest concern. At this point, I was ready to cancel my unit at Life Storage but the Cary location saved the day by being polite, understanding, and offering a solution within seconds of me calling them. I wouldn't step foot at this location again if you paid me. If they fire Wilma, I will consider changing my mind about this place.

  I was very pleasantly surprised at how clean and modern this facility was. The front desk people were very helpful, explained everything about rental and seemed happy to show me my new storage room. The price was the best I had found in the area. I would definitely recommend Life Storage to others.

  I did all of my reservations online and over the phone. It was a smooth transition when I got to life storage. Mrs. Wilma was of great assistance in helping choose the right space. Great customer service! Thank you Mrs. Wilma!!!
