  On June 8th I had a visit from a service technician who diagnosed my freezer problem as "broken ice maker" and I would need a new one to the tune of $900. After picking myself up off the floor he told me that finding a new one might be difficult and that if it had to be ordered from Germany he couldnt tell me how long it would take. Today is July 28th. I have NO paperwork showing this had been ordered and cannot reach service phone. No one has called me with an update. We are trying to sell our condo and with broken ice maker this will become an unhappy "disclosure". Wish I'd never bought this machine though it appeared to be the perfect fit for our small condo.
