  WARNING: DON'T LET THE 5 STAR REVIEWS FOOL YOU, AMAURYS IS LIKE A CONNIVING SNAKE, HE LURES PEOPLE IN LIKE PRAY, FATTENS THEM UP, AND PREPARES THEM TO BE SLAUGHTERED....THEY NEVER SEE HIM COMING! MY EXPERIENCE: I attended this so called "church" for many years. The "pastor" Amaurys is a bona fide cult leader. His approach is no different than Hitler, Jim Jones, or any other controlling dictator. He brain washes the church to think as he does. Your thoughts are no longer your own. He uses public humiliation and fear tactics (your going to hell if you don't....) to manipulate and brain wash the congregation. He has pressured married couples to divorce if they both don't follow him. If a spouse decides to leave the church once they realize they're being brainwashed and their partner decides to stays, Amaurys will pressures that spouse to get a divorce by convincing them their spouse is influenced by satin and destined to eternal life in hell for leaving god. The church is programed to believe if they say or think anything bad/negative about "the anointed one of God" (referring to himself) they have committed blasphemy and there is no hope for salvation because they have blasphemed the spirit of God that is in him (I can't make this up!) and they wholeheartedly believe this!!! The congregation is completely blinded as was I. THE SAD TRUTH: Many church members are facing eviction and financial difficulties b/c It's mandatory for the church to give 20-30% tithes, end of the year offering starting at $20,000-1,000, first fruit offerings (1-2 weeks pay), during the service he takes a "seed" offering starting at $100-20 in addition to regular offering. If you consistently do not cooperate with the offerings, he will look and find some fault in you, then he will publicly humiliated you, the church will rise against you, give false testimony, and eventually you will be thrown out ot the church (Which is the greatest blessing of all, true FREEDOM from oppression). He does not contribute to the community as a true church of God would. His motto is "Don't ask what the church can do for you, ask what you can do for the church" - Amaurys Mella. ONE MUST DO EXTENSIVE RESEARCH ON CULTS BEFORE ATTENDING THIS CHURCH. THE BIBLE SAYS, "MANY WILL COME IN MY NAME SAYING HE IS THE CHRIST & MANY WILL BE DECEIVED" MATT 24:5 All these 5 stars reviewers have witnessed the above over and over again. As long as it's not them being persecuted they are ok and in agreement but when it's targeted at them to the point they can no longer take the humiliation, then their eyes are miraculously opened!

  This church has changed my life COMPLETELY! I was lost, empty and alone until God placed me here... I am what I am today because of all the teachings, advice and the guidance of my beautiful pastor Amaurys Mella and his assistant José Malavé. From the first day that I stepped foot in this church I have received nothing but love, support and understanding. I wouldn't change GOD, my anointed AMAURYS MELLA, my big brother JOSÉ MALAVÉ and my wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ FOR NOTHING IN THIS WORLD! LCBK is filled with God's presence and I will remain here for all the days of my life

  I never knew how real God is until i stepped into Letting Christ Be Known! I didn't think a church like this even existed! The church is not made of the four walls it is the brothers and sisters who make up the body of Christ. With their genuine love for each other and for the vision of Gods church. This amazing church is led by the pastor Amaurys Mella; whose life testifies how God blesses those who He sends to deliver His message to the world. The pastor Amaurys Mella is a blessing to all the young children, teenagers and adults. He has motivated and inspired them to focus on their education and to dream big because everything is possible when you have God. The service is amazing everyone is friendly and receives guests so openly like they are family. I have visited a few christian churches in the United States and none can compare to this church. God truly speaks to you through the pastor. The word is preached in a way that you can understand and APPLY it to your life. It truly changes your life forever. This church is spontaneous and absolutely amazing that is the first thing you will notice when you come.
