  First, I should share that I am not a woman that enjoys going to a new salon. I get a bit tense. I do not explain what I want very well. I get annoyed. So, this should give the reader an idea of what type of client I am. While always polite, my patience is limited. I So, after getting bills over $375 for a cut and color at other places, my daughter hunted up this location. I needed a cut as well (I had put it off too long) so made an appointment as well. We arrived (they have a new location and had just moved in) The first girl I spoke with, well, I saw fairly quickly it was not going to work. My frustration grew a bit, but Kelly, who had been cutting my daughter's hair stepped in. I explained my issues with hair, and she was so cool, I decided to wait and see if she could help me. She finished my daughter's hair (providing an adorable cut and exactly what my daughter wanted as she does not possess my handicap) It was then my turn and I walked to the chair with about the enthusiasm of one going to the gallows. Well, let me just say, Kelly has the patience of a Saint and the skill of an angel. We must have been there close to 2 hours. She would cut, and I would attempt to explain what I wanted done a bit different. She would then interpret my babble and let's just say... my hair came out shorter than I am used to BUT it was totally due to my lack of ability and Kelly doing as I asked. That said, this hair cut is probably my favorite one of all time. It is a very different look, but it is perfect. I have gotten a ton of compliments. And I took pictures so can now just show them to Kelly, though I would be surprised if that brave soul could ever forget me. You want the cherry on top? The normal bill is $20 for a haircut. Yep, no kidding, $20 where I had been charged over $100 in the past. She charged me $30, but I thought that was not enough and added another $20. That is seriously how patient she was. I took up a lot of her time, and never was there an eye roll, or sigh, or anything other than a calm, cheerfulness. The good news, that only happens to me on the first visit. After that, my weird reaction subsides. I will be going back for a color (which I am actually very good about) as the skill level showed here in no way matches their incredible prices. This is no bargain basement, scrappy doo hair place. I would easily rank Kelly's skill with those of the $375+ salons, and her patience just defies description. Kelly will now be the one to do my hair, and I can only attempt to reassure her with my posting here that I only act that way on a first visit. Thank you Kelly for putting up with my odd quirk and giving me one of the, if not THEE best haircut I have ever had!

  Amazing people and a cute store. Not much parking space but it is made up for with a friendly atmosphere and helpful people!
