  I had a vehicle towed to Lancer with a major mechanical issue. The response was fast and helpful. I received good info from Aaron . Ultimately, I did not have the vehicle repaired there to due the cost of the repair in relation to the value of the car, but Aaron did a nice job handling the situation and left me feeling confident that a return trip to Lancer with another vehicle will be worth my effort. Great customer service!

  Just Great! I am new in town (1 year now ), so to have such professional, competent technicians for my lovely ole Subaru is very reassuring. They've got me for the long haul now, don't need to look anywhere else.

  I've been going to these guys for a couple of years- always friendly and always straight up about how much things will cost and how critical a suggested repair is, and if you can put it off. Prices on inspections and oil changes are pretty reasonable, and they know their stuff. Granted, a little on the spendy side for some repairs, but they also use higher quality parts and offer higher end professionalism and workmanship. I highly recommend these guys, especially if you live or work near downtown St Paul.

  I paid about $40 for an oil change and a thorough inspection. They took the time to make sure that I understood the recommendations, prioritized maintenance, and provided fair quotes. At the end of the day I decided to defer maintenance for now and they didn't pressure me. I feel like Lancer provides fair and honest service. Very much worth the money to know I am getting advice and service from such professional, experienced, and really just friendly mechanics. I will return.
