Walked through this park one evening after finding a parking spot at North Parking for the Cherry Blossom. We thought it was a beautiful park, very quiet. It was a very pleasant walk.

What a hidden gem in the Nation's Capitol on the Virginia side of the river. Bike trail connects to Mt. Vernon trail or you can walk around the park itself (trail needs resurfacing). Park includes a memorial to Lyndon B. Johnson, 36th President of the United States, as well as benches and picnic tables. There is also a marina with a bar and grill. Parking lot off southbound GW Pkwy right before the Humpback Bridge and 395 S. Another parking area available off the North Pentagon parking lot in case you miss the turn off the parkway, you can get there from Long Bridge Road (Old Jefferson Davis Hwy) in Crystal City.

Not sure how this place is "Southern " comfort food? My friend had his birthday dinner here and no one liked their appetizers or dinner. Didnt even bother looking for dessert because nothing had seasoning/flavor. Customer service: Poor. We asked for napkins, salt and pepper, utensils and refills numerous times to both the server and waiter but it took them forever to to get basic things. Lackluster food and poor service =will not return.

Absolutely gorgeous park just outside of Washington, DC! This park, dedicated to LBJ, his wife, and their memory is a breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful place to visit and explore. Be advised: the park is mainly accessible by car, the nearest subway station is over a mile walk away. I was only able to spend a small amount of time there, and I cannot wait to go back! I highly recommend visiting this park to everyone!

Beautiful spot to get to and from Rosslyn and the Memorial Bridge. View is cool. The only problem is the path surface sucks over the past 2 years. Once they get it repaved it will be back to a 5 star.
