  Not a bad experience here. I've stayed at the Hilton which is right next door and paid over 200 a night (this is expected because of the city and name of the business). We stayed at la Quinta this time because it's pet friendly and we traveled with our pup. They were very accommodating and placed us in a downstairs room that had tile which I liked because it makes everything feel more clean. The beds themselves are comfortable but the pillows, that's another story. The pillows are very stiff and it was hard to sleep, if I would have brought my own it would of been a perfect stay.

  Nice hotel in a nice area. Very convenient to freeway and nearby restaurants. Didn't like being on the 3rd and had to walk down to the middle area for the pool. Continental breakfast was good but the attendants could be a little more pleasant in the morning

  I had a very pleasant stay here with family on vacation. Jose at the front desk was super nice we got into town earlier than expected and the check in isn't until 3 but he had a room available and we were able to check in early. There is also a parking fee here but he was nice enough to waive the fee. I will be staying here again and I will recommend this hotel to family and friends.

  Free breakfast and daily house keeping are some of the benefits of coming here. Parking is not free, however it's like $12 per day. They have two underground parking and and one open parking lot in the middle of the two buildings. They prices are reasonable but might be higher on the weekends. Great service from all the staff. I would definitely book this place whenever I'm in San Diego. The location is also perfect, close to the airport.

  We ALWAYS stay here when we come into town to visit family. The family suites are great with bunk beds, and even the two room suites with the pull out couch is enough room for all of us. The rooms have been remodeled in the last few years and they have done away with carpet for laminate (I’m just not a big fan of hotel carpet). The breakfast is always well stocked and there is plenty of seating in the dinning area. The pool is heated and you could cook lobsters in the jacuzzi so it’s great to use year around! The bummer is the parking fee, but, the rooms are reasonably priced (we always get our military rate) especially during the off season and they run specials for free parking for “Elite members” every now and then. We are a big family and we like to bring our dog with us so this is our definite go-to hotel when we are home to visit!
