Great hotel, friendly service and quiet rooms. I was worried when I noticed that we were positioned right next to the ice machine but you can't hear anything in the room. The only trouble we've had was finding parking.

The folks that work here are all extremely nice, at least everyone I met so far. I feel very at peace here. I think the loudest person here may be me. Really though, it’s completely quiet and utterly relaxed. The man who helps me at the front desk on a regular basis couldn’t be more hospitable. The rooms are good size a wonderful deal !!! I’ve paid $50 more for the same size room or smaller. It’s a little rough on the outside, (mainly old paint). The woman who took my reservation over the phone. She actually helped me to the point of a FREE early check in. Nobody is promised that I’m sure, it was terrible weather out and cold. She allowed her heart to help. This place is really like that. Well worth a little extra commute. What’s kindness worth these days...? I still can’t believe it’s as affordable as it is.

The room was clean and decent. The furnitures were old and cheap, you can tell it’s time for an upgrade. This was an old inn but overall the cleanliness was good. I love there was no parking and pet fee. However, don’t expect big breakfast. They don’t really offer one. I stayed here for few nights and the only staff that was helpful and super nice was Barry. Like the other reviews said, the other staff didn’t seem to like their job and it felt awkward seeing them. The location is great if you’re prepared to pay the toll road 520 a few bucks each time crossing it. If not, it’s double the miles to drive to downtown. Also, the room was super cold if you don’t constantly turn the heater on. Building insulation was bad.

The good: The decor was lovely. The price was low. Parking was easy and plentiful. They took Covid protocols seriously. My pet was welcomed without any qualms. The room was exactly as pictured and came with a refrigerator and microwave. Cons: Our room smelled dirty, like the carpet needed shampooing, and was a bit dingy. The complimentary items, such as shampoo, coffee, etc were the cheapest of the cheap. The La Quinta website showed a breakfast bar with an assortment of items, but instead it was a choice of three items that were kept behind the front desk and doled out by the employees. The breakfast consisted of yogurt, the fruit of the day, and alternating packaged muffin or packaged waffles. (The fruit and pastry were not good quality and disappointing.) When we arrived, we were told that housekeeping wouldn’t come into our room due to Covid. This means that our room didn’t get vacuumed, our trash didn’t get emptied, our beds didn’t get made, and our towels didn’t get refreshed during our stay. Most of the people working at the front desk were weird, with an unkempt appearance and lacking the finesse you’d expect from someone in the hospitality industry. All in all, the hotel has potential if the management and corporate pays more attention to the details. If you’re looking for a cheap place to sleep, this place probably won’t kill you.

I really enjoyed my stay at this La Quinta! My room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I loved the clean gym room, the fact that it had both a cable machine and various cardio equipment. The laundry facility in the lower level came very handy as well. There were all kinds of cozy seating areas peppered throughout, and they provided free water and coffee in the lobby area. Barry at the front desk was super nice and even gave us great local travel tips! Great location with fantastic restaurants a short drive away. Highly recommended!
