::I loved this somewhat obscured dive. This was recommended to us, especially their mac, and we don't regret visiting. Wish I was less tipsy then to remember what we ordered on happy hour, but my vodka drink was effective and delicious. Their 'spold' mac was the bomb, and so was their gumbo, which had a nice spice. Portions were a small bowl, hence I ordered two. Staff was fairly attentive and super friendly, and then it got a little busy. I would definitely come here again.

::Food was okay, service was great. Drinks just okay, overpriced and underwhelming. Paid $10.50 for a side piece of bland catfish, I can get a delicious healthy sode portion at the Screen door for $6. Disappointing for a girl from Louisiana celebrating Fat Tuesday, $19.95 for less than a pound of crawfish which I was dying to taste, had more sausage than anything...won't be back...

::The staff was very nice and super helpful. The bar is small but they have a decent selection and the atmosphere was cool also. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a somewhat trendy, cozy spot.
