  THIS GIRL CLAUDIA AT THE HULEN STORE IS RUDE ALWAYS. THEY NEED TO FIRE HER. AND THEY DO RUSH U OUT THE DOOR. THE MANAGER PASSED BY ME TWICE AND NEVER SPOKE. IT WAS DEAD IN THERE. STAFF IS RUDE NEVER A SMILE OR GREET U. I noticed I NEVER RECEIVED AN APOLOGY. I SAW ALL THE REPLIES EXCEPT TO MINE. I WENT BACK A FEW DAYS AGO AND SAME THING. I WILL CONTACT THE CORP.

  Usually when my order is messed up I am compensated for having to drive back up there and drive back to eat my now soggy sandwich. Just a gesture a cookie even. Something that says hey I'm sorry we messed up. or even the words I'm sorry we messed up would have been nice. We will not order from here anymore as this experience was very unpleasant

  I ordered the Chicken Parisian sandwich and a side of Caesar salad. The lettuce on my sandwich who so wilted that it was purple. It was a absolutely disgusting. I took it off and the sandwich was fine. But I threw the salad away because the lettuce looked wilted in it as well. Will not be going back. Pretty disappointed since I spent $10 and couldn’t even get decent looking lettuce.

  La Madeleine can be hit or miss. I've had two really bad experiences with the food being tasteless and overly dressed, soggy salad. Also, their employees could smile more. They can seem robotic. That being said, I still like La Madeleine if you want a cozy spot during the week to study, enjoy a coffee, or fruit tart. When you order anything in, you are able to get the free bread and jam. I love their raspberry jam. If you stay here for awhile studying and don't want to order something else, just grab some bread to hold you over :) A favorite place to sit for most people is by the dual sided fireplace, so congrats if you get that spot! Items that have never failed me at La Madeleine are the fruit tarts and soups. Their rewards program occasionally offers free items. For example, today I received a mini French Flag Tart to honor 35 years of La Madeleine. Another time it was a crossaint, but I don't remember the occasion.

  I just went yesterday 02/11/2018. The food is good. The only thing that was bad is the customer service.It was my first time there, Staff was just standing around when i was trying to figure out how the procedure went to enjoy the experience. No one acknowledges the fact that someone walked in to order. The guy that finally attended us literally said " I saw your faces looked confused". He waited till we looked confused to finally explain and help us to place order. The guy had green hair and he looks asian. He literally looked like he was high on something because we asked him what was in the salad and his answer was oblivious. A person can be oblivious but not an answer.
