  Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and no judgement, they have lots of group fitness classes including cycling, Zumba, and yoga. And they're open long hours during the week (5am-11pm) and they're open until 8 on the weekends. They also have a hot tub and sauna which is great after a killer cycling class

  West saint Paul location: In the past the customer service here has been horrible but over the last two weeks the new customer service staff has been friendly and attentive. A negative would be the cardio area not having any air flow, it gets hot exercising up there. The best part about LA is the volleyball, great competition over the winter and into summer. The volleyball is why I stay a member of LA fitness.

  We've been members here for about 6 months. We enjoy the variety of equipment and the class offerings. We are disappointed in the lack of cleanliness. The women's locker room and bathroom floors are filthy and need a good hard scrubbing (not just a quick wet mop). Lockers are rarely wiped out and are dirty from winter shoes. Equipment is, obviously, not cleaned on a regular basis. We work out at 6:00 a.m. and I would expect that the Club would be well-cleaned overnight. That is not the case. Garbage cans are full to overflowing, the bathroom sinks are dirty from the day before, there is debris on the floor, the equipment is dirty. Management seems to place a great deal of emphasis on membership sales and personal training sales. They don't seem to place much emphasis on the sanitary conditions of the gym and locker rooms or the day to day details. In addition, I would love to engage a personal trainer, but not at $1,200 up front. That is just not within our budget. They need to offer more flexibility in their personal training offerings.

  The West St Paul LA Fitness is only a couple years old with a good pool and hot tub that is kept cleaner than most gyms. Jeffrey at the front desk is good helpful. I don't use the bikes or weight room much but look well maintained.

  Great place, but I know I won't get my hind end there until they start a free pick up service... Try their free 5 days intro offer, see what you think.. I had no complaints...
