  La Delice was baking spectacular treats when I first moved to NYC 45 years ago & they are still baking them today. Their broad selection & outstanding quality have kept them successful. A word of warning to those with little resistance: The wonderful aromas of La Delice cannot be confined to the shop. So, as you approach the door, your taste buds may already be inside making selections. There are too many favorites for me to list them all here. The cakes are beautiful & delicious. The pies are sublime. Their large selection of butter cookies can cause one to swoon. Their croissants are NYC's best in my opinion & they have wonderful pastries & breads & on & on. Do yourself a favor. The prices are reasonable & the quality is superb!

  This place is pretty small, but has a lot of variety! We got an assortment of pastries and french macaroons. We got two hot pastries which were excellent. Unfortunately the cold pastries were not very good. We got an eclair which was soggy, a tart which was very dry and a turnover which was acceptable but not nearly as good as I would expect for the price. The real disappointment was the french macaroons. French macaroons are my wife's favorite - yet she didn't even want to eat all of them. I bought one of each flavor, which was 8 macaroons. We split four of them, which all tasted pretty much the same (no real flavor differentiation) and we ended up leaving the last four at the hotel.

  This was my mother’s favorite bakery, she loved the pastries in the window. Every time I buy the cakes from the window, they are delicious! This bakery is a staple in the neighborhood, for over 20 years I never had an issue and I will continue to support this neighborhood bakery!

  外見からもしかしたら美味しそう！と思って入りました。エクレアを買ったんですが、残念、めちゃ不味かった。ふわふわしてない、冷蔵ケースで日にちが経ったとすぐわかる食感でした。他のなら美味しかったのかな？また寄って他のを試してみようか…カードは10ドル以上からじゃないと使えません。
