::A word of warning to all members. I thought a credit card gave some protection against fraudulent charges. Not so. I applied for a "free" sample of Garcinia Cambrogia and authorized the shipping/handling fee of $4.95 on my visa which is through KUE. Checking my account online a couple weeks later I saw I had been charged $158.62 by the merchant on the 15th day after my free sample request. I filed a dispute with the visa customer service # and called the phone # on the visa charge. I was told I had authorized a binding legal contract by not contacting them and refusing any further purchases. I had not even received the "free sample" at that time! After arguing with the representative for some time, I succeeding in cancelling my "contract". That very same day they sent through another $l6l.60 in charges! The visa company told me to call my banking institution. I have and was told they could only cancel my card and issue a new one. By giving my credit card # to the merchant, I authorized any charges they made. I will have to pay $320.22 for a product I do not have (I refused the package when it came in to the post office). BUYER BEWARE. This is an expensive lesson on giving your credit card #. I am not sure if the restaurant where I ate dinner and paid with my visa is also allowed to send a charge through each day whether I eat there or not.
