  Nice decor and staff, but the food is just too sweet (is the coconut milk condensed?) and doesn't satisfy.

  Avoid the noodles. I had one good and one very bad experience with Krua Thai, both times via Eat24. First the good: I ordered and liked their yellow curry, and would order it again if not for my other experience. The bad: I ordered "Pad C U" and drunken noodles via Eat24 delivery. The noodles for both dishes were of the wrong type (skinny pad thai noodles, not the flat noodles advertised) and were in a congealed mass. They weren't tasty. I asked Krua Thai to remake, and they refused. They also refused to refund those items.

  This place was perfect. Located in the mission so super close to bars. They have a 2-4-1 deal during happy hour on beer and wine. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. I had the pad Thai and and tom yum soup because I'm gluten free which will accommodate! So glad I found this spot on Seated!

  Good service but food is very bland - Tom Kai Soup, Pad Thai Noodles, Surf and Turf, Veg Noodle Soup and Money Bags all were so bland. No flavor of lemon grass & galanga root we’re not in the soup and was no evidence were ever in the soup; the coconut milk so watered down; no spice/heat either. Well actually, the Thai Ice Tea was excellent! Off to another Thai restaurant next time- oh, first world problems!

  I'm trying to give as fair a review as possible. Yes, the food was good and the price was fair. However, my two friends and I had the positively worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. There was almost no wait to get a table, but we decided to sit at the bar so that we might get served faster. I had to ask three times if they would serve us food at the bar and every time the bartender just said let me go ask and didn't respond when he came back. Whatever, turns out they would. We got menus and decided to order take-out since it was so loud and bustling in there and we thought that would allow us to eat even faster. We ordered our food and waited for about 45 minutes before we asked how much longer it would be. By then one of my friends had run out to go get alcohol out of boredom. The bartender said, as if we were idiots for asking, "you've only been waiting 45 minutes! Some people have been waiting over an hour and a half." Well sure enough we wound up having to wait another 45 minutes before our food was ready and by then we also ran across the street to get chips from the gas station so we didn't pass out from starvation. The only reason we didn't just abandon our order was because they were one of the only restaurants open. It would have been nice had they told us the wait would be so long. Two of the stars are for quality of food and a fair price. The overall experience, atmosphere, and service should be three missing stars BUT I'm giving them a break on a busy day because it was Christmas and because I'd try it again on a less busy day. Thus, three stars.
